Not for all recessed housings
Could not get these to sit flush with the ceiling in a tapered housing that doesn’t have a space to latch the tensioners. Might be ok for some cans, but not my 2002 Progressive Lighting tapered ones. But Lowe’s was good about accepting the return. Thank you!

Would Not RecommendHave had these lights for 2 years. 1 got very dim. had to have electrician come to check it. Had to replace the driver box! Would never buy again!
Unexpected bargain
Would RecommendEasy to install. The range from soft white to bright white was appealing. I won’t need to replace a lightbulb. It was only a few dollars more than the recess cover. If you could get a lightbulb for two dollars with the purchase of a recess light cover, you would’ve been a happy camper. That’s what this is. I went to Lowe’s to get a new recessed lighting cover. For a few dollars more I won’t have to worry about replacing a lightbulb.

Stevo was wrong....
Would RecommendIf you look at all the reviews Stevos 1 star review shows a picture and review saying the fixture does not fit in a 5" hole. Hes wrong, zoom into the picture and you will see Stevo did not move the torsion springs to the inner position hence it would not fit. Quoting SpaceX's landing barge "Just Read the Instructions"!! I have a 5" base and after moving the torsion springs with the help of a Philips driver fits like a glove.
