Would RecommendI bought two from another big box store. They work really well for storing 16 gauge cords. They are easy to hang on a nail. They are a little flimsy. If you take care of them (don't run over them with the riding mower like me) they will last for decades.

Would Not RecommendYou can't use this reel like a non-stand one. The design doesn't allow the female end of the cord to hang out and still be able to reel it in. I'll be returning this for a regular cord reel.
