My critique is the same as most everybody else and have had the same issues as most everybody else that has rated this low. So no sense in writing it all over. The instructions provided are printed so so very small you need a magnifying glass and they are entirely in Spanish. No English translation with them. Nor can you find it online or on the Lowe’s site.

Don't buy

There were 3 in stock. 2 were open-box returns when I bought them. That, plus their volume of 1 star reviews shoulda scared me off. I bought all 3. Not ONE of them worked, even after "charging" for over an hour. Checked all my wiring with a multimeter, sure enough: it was all in working order. Bought a different brand, they worked perfectly

Not for use with LEDs

This product states that it can be used with LED bulbs. However, when I used them on a project with 6 LED bulbs, they were non-operational. The no-neutral units require enough current flowing through the load to operate, and the LED bulbs do not allow that current. I had to switch to timers with neutrals and the timers worked perfectly. The manufacturer needs to make it more clear that they probably will not work with LEDs.

Seems good so far

Perfect. Just what I needed to get an indoor light timer hooked up. Works as expected. Purchase was done online and item was picked up at store by my electrician. pricing was reasonable.

My review is the same as the others with one addition: it did take more than 40 minutes to charge. And I can't, just like the others reviewing this product, get it to program even using the auto format for my zone. I'll add that the directions are the smallest print imagineable and because of that somewhat useless and that the screen is unlit? I have to hold a flashlight up to this thing while pinching a picture of the instructions I had to take on my phone. This is a bad design flaw. Where el...

Charge it for 10 minutes not 1 like it says!!!!!!!

The instructions say that it needs to charge for 1 minute before it can be programmed. The screen stayed dark for about 10 minutes! I thought it wasn’t working and was about to uninstall it and return it! I ran around checking breakers, voltage with my meter, verifying load and line were correct, was getting very frustrated….. Then magically the screen came to life and everything was fine. Utilitech needs to revise those instructions grrrr!

Bought 3 of these to replace aging ones that were failing, and should have read the reviews first. 😡 Easy enough install, BUT - 1st unit powered up in less than 30 minutes. 2nd & 3rd units have been installed for ALMOST 24 HOURS and still havent powered up. $$$ down the drain. DO NOT BUY!

Avoid this product

Never could get the programming to get set up. Checked the wiring for proper Line/Load connections. Spent 30 minutes on the phone with technical support. All I got from them was a return authorization number. The product has an unreasonable degree of complexity for a simple timer switch.

Never Charged UP

Tried two of the devices. Connection instruction where not complicated. Waited for several minutes and device never charged up. Tried several manner of connecting device. Should of read reviews about taking hours to charge up. Do not buy this device.

Give it time to charge

Works as intended, but needs to charge a few hours before it actually turns on. Doesn't say this in directions.

Works good, but beware and read the reviews

This timer works great as long as you read the reviews first and don't expect the instructions that come with the timer to be correct. I ordered two of these to control some outdoor lights to turn on and off according to the sunrise and sunset. I installed the first one and nothing happened. The switch did not power up.
