Faulty within a day.
Would Not RecommendPurchased these and within 24 hours of installing, lights were flicking in more than one fixture. Changed them with a name brand bulb and have had no issues.

High Failure Rate
Would Not RecommendI installed these in a kitchen ceiling light. Three bulbs in the fixture. each bulb lasts about two weeks before it starts blinking. I am done climbing up to change bulbs. No more Utilitech products for me. Out of a pack of eight I have already replace 6 and number 7 is blinking already.

Not For Enclosed Fixtures
I just moved into a new home and these exact bulbs are in all the fixtures (20). In a two week span I replaced 6 bulbs due to blinking or all out failure. I switched to an enclosed fixture rated alternative and have so far been very successful.

I figured this was a fluke and had it replaced with a different bulb from another box. In a few days, same problem. Then, a second fixture began flickering. These lamps are just about a perfect fit (brightness and color) for our home's reading lamps. We do not use them on a dimmer.
