Why all the extra crap?
Would Not RecommendI spent a long time installing this. I almost had it in but had to remove it again because the very cheap sliding screw bars kept getting stuck in the wrong place. I found that i had to hold the wire, the receptacle and the wire clamps before I could tighten on a wire instead of air. It is completely unnecessary for those wire clamps to be so fragile and move. I finally got the wires anchored after multiple attempts. When I went to install the cover, the face plate kept trying to come off. The o...

Would RecommendReceived a call from my new home owner daughter. Received a panicked call from my daughter. Apparently something went wrong with the dryer that came with her house and the outlet was melting down. I had her go and trip the breaker. After inspection of wiring and outlet I determined outlet would need replacing. Went to Lowes to get the replacement. Didn’t have any issues buying and installing.
