Would RecommendBesides filtering paint, I also found that these filters work great for weed spray that has coagulated while stored. I used to have throw this old weed spray out but now can "recycle" it without clogging it up the sprayer.+

Not good for thick paint
Would Not RecommendThe mesh on this product is very small and does not cover much area, so it clogs up very easily. I had some rather thick paint that I stirred up and tried to thin out some and was hoping these would filter out the clumps and debris that fell in from the old can. The paint just sat in them and dripped out at a rate that would have taken a couple of days to finish. They also don't have a very good way to use them. You have to balance them on the can. These are made from stiff paperboard makes them easy to use. I have bought cheaper ones made from flimsy paper. I would definitely recommend using strainers 100% of the time if you are painting with a paint gun.
