What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this joist tape for its exceptional adhesion and moisture protection, with most highlighting its extreme stickiness and strong bond to joists even in cold weather. Many appreciate the easy peel-and-stick application that lays smoothly without wrinkling, noting it fits standard 2x joists perfectly. Reviewers consistently credit the tape with preventing joist rot and extending deck life, particularly when used with composite decking. A few mention the extreme stickiness can pick up dust or require careful handling during installation, and some find the price steep, though most agree the upfront cost prevents costly replacements. Overall, customers consider it a must-have for deck builders.

Magic tape
Easy to apply and sticks very securely covering the tops of my joists and joints. While rebuilding my deck, and seeing the rot, I am confident this tape will extend the life of my deck much longer. Well worth the price!

Joist tape has great adhesion!
Would RecommendHad to replace several joists on the outdoor deck attached to our house. Purchased this joist tape to apply to the new joists before installing and reapplying the decking boards to protect and preserve the joists as long as possible.
