Would RecommendI built slide out shelves for my pantry and having built cabinets previously, I knew in this Texas heat I had to thin the varnish. I used about a one to one ratio in order to get a smooth finish. People who see my work think I'm a professional, I'm not. I just watch Lou Sauzedde a lot. I like the way my cabinets look and they have such a smooth finish. I put several coats of gloss and finish up with sating so they're not so shiny.

Used to thin by 10% paint purchased earlier, also from Total Boat. Application by brush was easily completed after some sanding (fine surface). Project was outdoors last summer, subjected to rain and hail. Nice looking finish.

Would RecommendA great brushing thinning agent that works with multiple different products in the line. I’m not really sure how proprietary it is, but it works well and it’s affordable.

Would RecommendWorks well. I buy it because I use it with Gleam varnish. Can't say it works better than any other thinner, but never had any issues.
