The product offers excellent snow clearing performance, with a powerful auger that can throw snow up to 25 feet. It is lightweight and user-friendly, featuring a self-propelled personal pace drive system and convenient controls. Customers praise its reliable and durable construction, as well as its overall quality and value. Let me first say, this thing impressed me with just how much snow it could tackle. I'm in southwestern Michigan and the 2025/2026 winter was its first time with us, so it got quite the workout from about mid January through February. Now the reason for a 3 star is the manufacturing and assembly side of things. I received it in the box and had put on the handle as expected. After the first couple of uses the chute post bracket broke off, had very poor spot welds on it. In order for warranty relat...

Would Recommendthe product is fine the shipper is an idiot. when the box indicates which way the box should be loaded you don't loaded it the wrong way without consequences. the shipment arrived with a significant amount if oil that had soiled the box. oil from the engine had drained out through the upper end of the engine.

Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great snowblower, great product. This snowblower is easy to maneuver and has very good power to handle large snow amounts.

Good power, too short.
Functionally, it works great with any type of snow. Slushy snow, it struggles more but still works. My problems with it are: 1- the handle it way to short. I have to arch my back and bend my knees sometimes to push it against a snow drift. 2- this is good for a paved driveway. Not a long driveway. Depending how long your driveway is, your hand and back will start hurting. I wanted to return this when I bought it but for some reason it was a final sale and no return allowed. I would have b...

Bought it two years ago. Big storm last week and now the drive and auger do not work. Engine runs fine, but no actual snow movement. I assume perhaps the drive belt snapped. How do I pursue a warranty claim?

excellent for a foot of snow
Would RecommendWoked well with snow up to 14 inches. Had difficult time with past snow on Long Island NY 30 inch- had to feather out first by shoveling top foot of snow.

824QXE
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in Southern Michigan and are snows are usually wet heavy chute clogging snow. I checked out two stage snowblower but knew I would have to install a impeller kit as soon as I got it home otherwise they would clog the chute up. After considering two stage blowers I decided on the 824QXE. I liked the fact that it has a similar two stage bucket and two stage chute. I have been able to use it quite often in the month I have owned it and mos...

Not worth the money
Would Not RecommendI purchased this because I just turned 78 and my old Toro was very difficult to manuver and heavy. It needed some repairs so I decided to buy a new one that would be easier to operate. After some research for my age this came highly recommended. First of all $1200.00 is way too much for this machine considering it has no gear shift also no light and to engage the auger requires two hands to operate. I would not recommend this machine for any snowfall over 8" and not wet. Anything over that and i...

A good Snowblower if it was designed correctly.
The problem with this snowblower is the weight balance. It's too light up front so it rides up on packed snow. It won't clean down to the pavement if your car is driven or even if you walk on it. The problem could be fix if they make a weight bar kit to keep the front from lifting up. Also most snowblower would blog down but keep going under heavy load but mine would shut down. Stick with a 2 stage or a 3 stage and not thinking this one is going to do both.
