Worked for two years

Worked great for two years then one day it just wouldn't turn off the lights anymore. Display shows correct time and day but even the override will no longer control the lights. No click. Any ideas?

BAD QUALITY! Undependable....

BAD QUALITY! Burned out and quit working after only about 14 months.... a cupple of months past warranty of course....

In-wall stand-alone timer

I like this "dumb" timer switch because it is fairly simple to install and program and does not need to be interfaced to a wifi or a home automation system as do "smart: switches. It replaces a standard wall switch to provide automatic on/off operation of lights or other items at set times. Sunrise/sunset timing can also be selected. It has a built in capacitor that provides power for at least a two days to keep the time of day correct when a power failure occurs without the need for a batter...

Timer keeps perfect time year in year out!

These timers do a great job of maintaining a tight schedule for outdoor security lights.

Look at newer technology

This is old technology. Electrician recommended a smart switch instead

good features/difficult install

installed, but ended up taking back removing and taking back. I like the features of this timer, but it is difficult to install single pole. read the reviews and people will give you install advice. the instructions are not the best.

Two Units Died

Installed the first unit. Followed all directions. Display came up for programming. Finished programming. Hit the override to test the circuit and that lights would come on/off and then the screen died. Power cycling the breaker and hitting the reset button on the unit did not bring it back. Swapped for new one at the store and had an exact repeat of the above. Avoid this product.

You better have good eye sight.

The installation instructions are written so small you need a magnifying glass to read them. The programming instructions are very difficult to follow. The wiring instructions are not the greatest either. Call tech support and got two different answers from the two different people for the same problem

Easy to install and program

I was a little hesitant to get this because a lot of reviews mentioned it being hard to program, but it was actually very simple. The instructions take you step by step through programming even showing diagrams on what button to push. I'm not really sure how it's possible to mess up as long as you have the instructions.

Easy to setup. Works well.

Great product if you need to automatically turn on/off something. Has a bit of a thick wires to support heavy load appliances

Overcoming Programming Difficulties

This product saves a lot of effort once it is installed and programmed. The installation process is simple, like any other switch. However, programming is the problem. There are 3 issues related to programming (which is probably true for all such switches): 1) The text on the switch programming buttons are too small to easily read. I had to photograph the controls with my phone and then enlarge the picture and print it. I then taped the print out next to the programming instructions and walke...
