Would RecommendI really like the mix of soil to bark ratio in this. I used it to plant my Agapanthus. It's perfect for helping the soil to not become completely saturated. It will also break down and provide nutrients to the soil. I really like the all natural pine bark. I'm moving away from the dyed mulches as they're not good for soil and plants.

Would RecommendOne of the best mulch you can buy, very easy to spread esp. if you have many beds. I'd recommend only for the right size. I bought couple dozens. Half of them were the right size shredding with nice natural color. On the other side, some were finely shredded. These are technically saw/tree dust in a bag not mulch, good only as a soil amendment. Some were big like bark nuggets not mulch. So, inspect carefully the batch that you will buy. Buy only from the store so you can inspect it. Don't blind ...
Good in certain raised beds
Good for my raised bed with fruit bushes and asparagus bed. Easy to spread, shredded bark works well to add a little acidity.
