What happened? Smell is ridiculously overpowering

Note to P&G - laundry should smell clean and crisp. Tide has been the only detergent I have used for 30 years. It had the perfect light, clean scent and could tackle any stain. I have completely stopped using this product. The scent has been reformulated and stinks. Incredibly overwhelming, you can almost taste it. Too bad, but this loyal customer has moved on to a different brand. I still miss my old Tide clean, scrips smell.

why is it brown?

Just poured into my washer dispenser and it is brown. I emptied that. Then shook bottle hoping it was just coloring or something but same thing. Obviously, I will not use and must throw away. What a waste of my money.

Absolute favorite

To me this is a clean crisp grapefruit smell that I can't get enough of with a smell that lasts "Refreshing breeze " is IT!

Disappointed

Tide Refreshing Breeze was my favorite detergent until the scent changed to a strange grapefruit scent around 2022. I’ve tried every other detergent since and have not found one with both cleaning power and scent that I like. Original Tide smell is now horrific, almost as though cat urine is at the heart of the fragrance. And don’t even get me started on Gain, which many years ago was by far the best smelling of all. ounces instead of bars

how many ounces do the bars represent on the tide cap. I have lost the cap and do not know how many ounces to use instead of bars. I would think there would be some info on the bottle to explain this... thank you

Horrible scent

The scent is overpowering and smells like chemicals. What happened to the Fresh Linen scent? I can't find it locally anywhere. Bring it back!!!

Green/brown color

Horrible color I would not purchase. The container looks like it was not factory made like all the other Tide containers I’ve used and bought since 12 or 13 years old. The actual liquid is different than other Tide. What is this number on the 89 load bottle?

Brown sludge

I just bought a GALLON which was really expensive. So, imagine my disappointment when I loaded my washing machine and it came out a gross brownish green color. I can’t tell what’s gonna happen to my clothes but I just had to run the machine and see what happens. I’m very concerned.

Brown in Color

We’ve used this detergent for a few years and really like it. Bought two new bottles recently and both were filled with brown smelly sludge!

What’s with the Color?

I just bought four bottles of Tide simply clean and fresh and it’s brown and gross and almost looks like there’s something else in it. I’m not using this in my clothes. What is the deal tide? I use y’all religiously this is the first I’ve seen of this color.?

Gets the job done

We loveeeee this detergent! I could do find anything to get the bo smell out of my daughters sports clothes until this detergent!!! I hope it never goes away

Very Strange Color

Is this supposed to be the "new thing" in detergent? It's marbelized in the most unappealing colors. If it's "clean" then where is the color coming from? This is the Refreshing Breeze variety. Normally Tide is so reliable. Maybe something went wrong. Is it safe to use or has it 'gone off'?

Brown Green Color

I use this product all the time and this is the first time I have ever had this experience of the liquid being a greenish color. It terrified me. I am on a budget this week and purchase a small bottle for my family clothes and poured this all into my clothes. I DO NOT have extra money to go buy another bottle because I’m afraid of what it may do to our skin, especially in our undergarments . It was a brown green color.

Brand new and came out brown green. The bubbles were even strange. I have never seen anything like it with any other laundry detergent. Money lost because it went in the garbage.

Brown and Green sludge

I poured some to wash a load of clothes and it was brown green with dark brown residue in it. It was disgusting I put some in a clear cup and the garage sink to make sure I was seeing the true color too. I grabbed my wife and she agreed it was bad. I poured the remainder of the bottle down the garage sink to get rid of the gross detergent. I have never seen anything so nasty I had to wash my clothes a 2nd time to get this crap out of my clothes with a different detergent.
