Used to be great but not anymore.

I live in a rural environment, and my clothes often get covered in dirt, mud, dog slobber, etc. This detergent WAS the best at getting my clothes super clean. First the price went up. Then the size of the bottle shrank. Next the color went from dark blue to marine green. Now, it no longer cleans! I pretreat my clothes, add extra detergent, put fewer clothes in the washer each cycle, yet my clothes come out looking dirty. They no longer smell clean either. It's definitely not worth the extra cost...

Terrible smell

Sickening smell. Need to try new kind to confirm if skin itching is due to the new Tide as well. So disappointing You had a great product and ruined it.

The smell is overwhelming

I love the Hygenic to get stains out, especially with a toddler and dog. We used to get the free and clear, which was awesome. I bought the scented and it's intense. In fact, it's so intense, my daughter's daycare asked we don't use it anymore. Please bring the free/clear back.

Not worth the money

I have been using it now for two months and it takes no stains out. You’re better off with your favorite detergent and use Dawn dish soap to put on stains because tide sucks has not gotten one of my stains out of any of my work shirts.

Bring back free

Please bring back the free and clear version of this! Need an unscented version and it worked so well.

Why get rid of the unscented version

I have used the unscented version of this for years, it was an amazing product. It even made Wirecutter’s best laundry detergent spot. Why get rid of an amazing product?

Ruined it with fragrance

I’ve been using this product for years both in my home and for my elderly patterns laundry. It would get soured towels fresh, blueberry stains out on the first shot with no extra scrubbing or stain treatments. Then they added fragrance. It’s HORRIBLE. Triggers migraines for me and my husband. And now there’s dye in it too for zero reason. Completely ruined a fantastic product.

HORRIBLE NEW SMELL…UNBEARABLE!!!!!!

I’ve been using this Hygienic 10X product since it came out years ago, it was my favorite! This recent change to the product is beyond AWFUL!!!! The smell is so strong, I have to put the containers I bought in the garage…. I’m so super sad they ruined this product!

Did the smell change?!

I used to LOVE this detergent as the smell was light and didn’t bother my sensitive smell or skin for the last 2 years, but I just opened a newly purchased bottle and washed my clothes and I can’t wear any of those clothes as the smell is giving me a headache out of nowhere and I have to change clothing into something that I just hasn’t washed with the new bottle. Has the scent changed recently?! I have to find a new detergent now which I am not happy about

Very strong and obnoxious odor/perfume

I've now done six plus loads using this detergent. The odor left on the clothes is borderline unbearable. If you like to wear perfume, buy this smelly detergent. I'm very unhappy with the product.

Watery

I bought 2 things of tide Landry soap and they both was really watery and had a nasty smell to it

New hygienic SUCKS

In a household that has several sensitive skin issues the old hygienic clean was perfect. No excessive dies or fragrance, basically a more powerful version of.Free and Clear. Now I am afraid I won't be able to use this new version causing me to duplicate loads due to lesser cleaning power of free and clear and its hyalenf

Confused

The site says the dosing is higher for an HE machine? Aren’t those machines supposed to use less detergent?

I like this just wish it was more heavily scented.

Started using this because after a sale my standard Tide was sold out. I think it gets my cloths cleaner and the whites are definitely brighter especially the dingy socks! I just wish it did not seem unscented. It’s advertised as having the Tide scent, but for some reason there’s no scent at all. So that’s disappointing I like a fresh and clean smell. It definitely does the job well and gets the dirt out though.

Meh

I use a different detergent, but used this when my friend moved in because it's what he used. I don't notice the clothes being any cleaner and it doesn't seem to freshen the clothes. I have had to rewas loads of my son's clothes with our normal detergent so they smell free and clean. it's ok but there are more affordable and better smelling detergents for much less. I think it's way overpriced so I'm back to using my normal stuff

Snot remains on dark colors

My son has horrible seasonal allergies. He takes medication for them, but still sneezes frequently. I can not pretreat every article of clothing that he sneezes on, so I depend upon my detergent to do the heavy lifting. Frequently Tide Hygienic Clean Pods let me down. While folding his "clean" dark colored shirts, I noticed dried, laundered, snot marks, in the middle of his chest, where his nose blew up before he could grab a tissue.
