Simple yet very effective.
I found the indoor fruit fly trap by Terro to work quite well. After a few days the trap had several tiny fruit flys. I did have some difficulty opening the liquid bait and would recommend scissors. Overall, I would recommend the Terro Fruit Fly indoor trap.
It's better than a homemade trap in some ways, but not quite a game changer...
I've been using this fly trap for about a month, more or less, and I like the design more than a typical homemade fly trap because it's small, less messy, less stinky, and less ugly overall. That said, I can't tell whether it's more/less effective necessarily, at least so far. My issue with fruit flies mostly comes from my little herb garden and my indoor greenhouse, so I set my trap by them and was honestly not too blown away with the effectiveness of the trap after a month. Looks great, only somewhat effective
Looks nice, good form factor. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to attract too many fruit flies. As far as I could tell it only caught one or two, and I’ve killed more with my bare hands during the past week+ of using it that weren’t being lured or caught by this trap.

Would Not RecommendThis year we are getting so many more fruit flies so I’ve been busy looking into sprays and traps and this one had a good rating so I thought I’d give it a try but unfortunately it’s bad! Each trap only caught one fly after about a month and it has a bad vinegar smell! Was surprised I didn’t have luck these traps! I will say the apple traps look nice and seem to be good quality so I’ll try making a good fruit fly repellent or killer liquid to put in them!

Easy solution to an annoying problem
The fruit fly trap from TERRO did the job quickly and after a week I haven’t seen anymore fruit flies. Fruit flies are always tough to get rid of so to have something that attracts them and traps them easily is a must during the summer. The trap was easy to use and straightforward. You essentially dump the packet of liquid into the red trap and then sit it somewhere where it can’t get knocked over. Within just a few minutes there was a fruit fly on it. Easy trap setup. Wish it was reusable!
Delivery box came a bit squished, but product inside was perfectly fine. Instruction easy and clear to read. Easy setup to fill. The liquid smells like straight apple cider vinegar, but the box doesn’t list the chemical ingredients. Out one day as a protective measure as we are about to harvest and want to prevent any fruit flies. Caught one on the first day. I hate this it’s not reusable. I may try to flush and fill with vinegar in 90 days when this expires. Wish me luck!
Cute and effective
I’ve been using this fruit fly trap for about a week and so far, so good. It’s super cute and I love that no one would know what it’s for unless you told them. The two pack is good so you can place them wherever you need. I haven’t been seeing fruit flies buzzing around much, so I would say this one is a winner.
