What Customers Are Saying
Customers are divided on this flea trap's effectiveness. Many report impressive results, catching 20-30 fleas overnight and praising the light's attraction power, with some combining it with other treatments for better control. However, a substantial group finds it ineffective or unreliable, citing bulbs burning out within weeks as a major flaw. Several customers feel misled by packaging claims and consider it overpriced for limited performance. While sticky pads are well-made, the short bulb lifespan and lack of replacements significantly undermine long-term value. Overall, results vary widely depending on infestation severity and placement.

I placed this trap in my kids’ room because they often let outdoor cats sleep in there. After one week, the glue surface was quite full. It caught mostly flies and moths, but it also caught a few fleas and ants. It is essentially a flat, lighted flypaper trap, which makes it useful in places where you cannot hang traditional fly strips. I think it works best near a pet bed, feeding area, or other spot where insects tend to gather. Assembly and installation were simple, and the overall quality se...

Sticky night light
The sticky trap however is VERY sticky like glue so beware when peeling back the plastic off. I don’t know if it works because we didn’t catch anything, so maybe we aren’t infested!? My only “negative” comment is that if you have to have on in your bedroom it’s like having a night light, so I did have to unplug it at night. So maybe I’m not using it correctly. 🤷🏻♀️
Innovative and effective
We were looking for a method to get rid of fleas that doesn’t involve toxic chemicals. This trap is deal for that reason as it is designed to attract fleas and insects by the heated area it provides. It lures them to step into the warm trap and get stuck on the super glue/sticky tape (floor) of the trap. We have an indoor/outdoor dog that we shaved low for the summer and though we tried to do pre treatment to avoid fleas, we still ended up with a general flea area in the living room where our...

Works well for fleas and more!
This Terro flea trap is versatile, easy to assemble and works wonders! I put it on the bottom shelf of my basement pub (as shown in the photo). Even though the light is supposed to attract fleas, which we aren’t having a problem with at the moment, I found that it works with trapping ants, spiders, gnats, flies etc. too!
A nice trap, but caution around curious animals
The concept of the trap is there and I think works to some degree, however if this trap is around animals, would definitely look at alternatives! We placed the trap near our cats litter box and did manage to catch a couple fleas or small bugs, so it did its job. Would’ve liked a dedicated hook/loop to hang on the wall possibly instead.
Somewhat effective
Catch flies moths and one flea even when located next to dog bedding it got kicked over and blew the light bulb fortunately their was a spare that came with it. It has replacement sticky pads that are easy enough to change and dispose of.

Works pretty good
They're much more attracted to me than this trap, but it works for when you're out of the room. No issues with the bulb after a few weeks.

Aways trust.Terro
Terro is known to be great with insect products. I have used their fruit fly traps for years, so this seemed like a no-brainer. It was a little strange ro put together. The instructions on the outside of the box were microscopic at best. The product came with two light bulbs, one of which was burned out unfortunately. I haven't caught anything on the trap yet, so perhaps that's a good thing!
Great product that actually works!
The Terro Flea Trap works great! Within 12 hours of checking the trap, it had caught several bugs already. Very simple set up within a couple minutes. I set it on my tool box near where my cats sleep in our garage. The plastic frame is easily adjustable! Very simple to replace the sticky pad. Comes with two pads and two light bulbs. Great product that actually works! I would highly recommend!
It Really Works!
This actually works! I thought it was a bit of a strange idea and I was quite skeptical about whether it would work but I reckoned smarter folks than me actually tested it. We have two dogs and of course they get their walks and one likes to spend time outside, so I have seen the odd flea flitting around despite the normal treatments you give your pets. The one caveat I had with the directions on this is to put near where your pets generally spend their time, which is a bit impractical in my ...
Everything you need is included
These traps come with everything you need, including the light! Its a simple setup that really does what its supposed to do, attract fleas (if you have them). We use them often because they're so convenient and effective. I cant think of a way to make them better. Even the light they give off is sets a good ambiance. Its worth setting one or two out even if you're not for sure you have them, at the very least it will set your mind at ease knowing you don't.
Simple design and quality glue board.
The trap works as intended. I’m not sure how many flies and insects it will attract, but glue traps will get some. The extra bulb and glue board are a nice addition. It would be better to have a rechargeable light rather than only a corded. Overall, it performs as advertised.
Really traps fleas
Item worked better than expected. It is a little bulky and takes up space. If item was a little smaller and less conspicuous it would be better .I would highly recommend.
Catches fleas
The Terro indoor flea trap was easy to assemble. It is a basic cheap Set Up that in theory should work by attracting the fleas to the light. I don’t really consider this a durable long term item, but it is inexpensive and if it helps with a flea problem it is worth it. What I am not a fan of, is I feel the sides are to easy for a pet to get a paw in. I have dogs and cats including a blind cat that would definitely get a paw stuck in that trap. So that limits where this can be placed. I w...
