Would RecommendThese are perfect for mounting things to cinder block garage walls: * Metal electrical boxes * Rails for tool/equipment storage The instructions recommend at least 1" of penetration into the walls. These 1-3/4" screws are plenty long, even when screwing through a metal electrical box and up to 1/2" plywood/OSB backing. I love that a drill bit is included. Make sure you use a hammer drill though! Be careful when installing -- if you over-torque, you'll strip the hole out.
