The assembly proved to be challenging. The instructions were little help.

GARBAGE HARDWARE

Literally the cheapest hardware ive ever seen in my life. The Phillips bolts are basically made of plastic. I needed to hold the them with a channel lock wrench in order to crank the nuts on. Completely stripped. Going to go back and force Lowe's to give me stainless hardware to replace them.

Good purchase

I love the storage box it holds everything I needed it for just a little smaller than expected. Putting this together was very simple and instructions were easy to navigate.

Terrible product

It’s a piece of junk. The holes for screws don’t line up so the bar in the lid doesn’t install properly and even without that the lid is warped and gaps on both sides when closed.

Priceless

This deck box was worth every penny. Very sturdy, durable and alot of space for my cushions and other outdoor decor. And it has a spot for a lock.

Poorly made and misaligned plastic parts

I bought 4 of these boxes and assembled them. I had extreme difficulty in assembling 3 of them -- plastic parts were slightly misaligned and corners were not tight. Upon loading the boxes, the walls separated even more, and despite my best efforts, the boxes began to fall apart after about a year and we had to discard all of them. Trash

Parts don’t line up. Screws strip out if the plastic. Utter cheap trash.

Suncast not good

We bought this deck box and it is not worth your time or money! Poor instructions add to confusion with the hinge and closer assembly. Could have gone with the Rubbermaid brand!

Poor quality

This is a poorly constructed design for the cost. The screws won't secure well, and stay loose. Lid was bowed and secure points for shocks were warped, not allowing the lid to shut. I had to pack it up and bring back. I don't recommend this product.

Leaky with a bad seal

We bought these in summer of 2023 during a deck remodel. They were specifically purchased to keep our deck cushions, clean and dry. The latches never lined up correctly and the screw holes did not lineup well either. This is now our third summer with these and they have leaked for the last two summers. Unfortunately, it’s not in our budget to put new ones in yet so we’ve had to use tarps to keep our things dry. Poorly made & Suncast not honoring their warranty

I am extremely disappointed with Suncast for not honoring their warranty. The lid never aligned with the main body of the box, but I wasn't going to lock it and the lid closed, so I kept it. Didn't want to have someone help me reload the box into my truck, make the exchange, have someone help me unload it from my truck and then assemble another one. Ugh! Issue righting shock mount screws

I just bought and assembled this box. 95% of it goes together in 15 minutes. My issues was the molding clearance to tighten the shock mounting screws. The molding was not deep enough for a 7/16 socket to reach the nuts. My molding design does not match the assembly video nor the box instructions. I had to maneuver the box up on saw horses so the nut had enough clearance to accept the 7/16 socket to tighten down. I was 60 seconds away from a return. Major reductions in quality

I have a version of this product that is approximately five years old. It is great. It has held up in all of Ohio weather. I use it to store cushions for my outdoor furniture. Recently, I bought a new couch and needed a second container. I was looking forward to buying what I thought was the same exact thing.
