Awesome attachment to build your own hanging light
Would RecommendI purchased this and a separate globe to make my own hanging light fixture, and it worked out fine. In my particular installation I did not use the mounting bracket and cover that it came with, but I bought a matching cord and connected and sealed the wires myself, being an electrician. This unit matched perfectly with the globe and it worked well. I highly recommend.

Leaves a gap with ceiling
The top escutcheon doesn't seal well with the ceiling. The bracket holding it doesn't sit high enough so there is a gap between the escutcheon and ceiling.
