Ratings & Reviews for Sterilite 2 -Bushel Blue Plastic 1 -Compartment Sorter Laundry basket

Poor design

Purchased product less than 6 months ago because of its great size. Gray handles broke off and the plastic on the basket has cracked.

Aqua with WHITE handles PLEASE!

Absolutely LOVED Aqua with white handles. HATE the use of grey on the new version. PLEASE make the light aqua with WHITE handles. Trust me, it will be a big seller. New version it too ugly to buy. :-(

Poor quality.

Handles broke within 2 weeks. Don't bother buying this.

Junk

This basket is a peice of junk. I would give no stars if I could. 1 of the handles broke the first time I used it,within a month 3 out of the 4 have broke. Very cheaply made, poor quality. Don't waste your hard earned money.

Handles break

I love the design of this hamper, except that the handles break off. I have had it less than a year, and already 2 of the 4 handles have broken off. I hope Sterilite can figure out a way to redesign this hamper to prevent this issue.

Very useful. Own a dozen.

Extremely useful. I use them in my laundry room, closets, sewing, carrying stuff back and forth to places in my car. Strong. Durable.

Best Laundry Basket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the versatility of these baskets. One basket we use for laundry and the other we use to sort toys in my youngest son's room. It's so sturdy and durable

I'm your biggest customer - but....

The design needs to be improved so the handles don't so easily fall out and then the plastic breaks. We have to proactively apply duct tape to new baskets and repair old ones.

The perfect hamper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mama of three young kids, I do a ton of laundry. We have a two story home, so I’m constantly hauling loads up and down stairs. This laundry basket is large, so it can fit a ton of clothes in it. It’s also super durable and the convenient handles on all four sides help as I’m navigating through doorways. I’m very pleased with this product!

Just what I needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the size of these! They are great for transferring laundry from other parts of the house to the laundry room! Not too heavy either

Great until the handle breaks

Well, I absolutely loved this laundry basket while it lasted. I loved how heavy duty it was , love the color. Handle broke though and now it’s not all that heavy duty.

Easy to carry!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely loving this lightweight basket. It’s so easy to carry around and go from upstairs to downstairs. Holds a lot of clothes too!

So convenient!

Makes sorting laundry so much easier when our laundry room is on the first floor and we have to bring everything up and down multiple times per day, very sturdy too!

Garbage handles break off within a few weeks

Bought 5 of these. Every single handle has broken off within 2 months leaving sharp jagged plastic were the handles should be. We are using them for laundry and nothing else...

Stands the test of time

I have had one for years and it has held up great! I recently bought two more so I can hold multiple loads of clean laundry at once! It is a great product

Heavy duty

Bought this after my other broke and so far holds up well and is a good size.

Flimsy

All four handles are broken. I have a sterilite laundry basket that is over 20 years old that is sturdy, well made and still going strong. Seems sterilite has sacrificed quality in order to keep the price low.

Great size bad hadle strength

I bought these baskets in October and the handles are already broken. Really disappointed. I love the size of the baskets though

All around Great baskets !

I keep 6 of this basket in my laundry area to presort all my laundry. That way when it’s time to actually put things in the wash, I just pull out the one basket, wash, dry, put it in the basket to put it up and then put my basket back in place for the next round. It’s just the best way ever to do laundry!!
