Bad lids

This is a good pitcher, but the lid sucks. cracked and broke.

Doesn’t properly seal

My product has a lid that has what looks to be an indentation that causes it to not seal. This makes the product not usable since this is for drinking liquids. One side just won’t seal no matter what. Very disappointed. It won’t let me add photos but I have them.

Bad pitcher top!

I bough this pitcher a few weeks ago and I'm terribly disappointed with it! I can't get the cover to stay tightly on it. Every time I go to pour a glass of water it leaks all over me.

Hummingbird water storage

I use 7-8 Sterlite 1 gallon pitchers from April through September to store my Hummingbird water. I once bought another brand but they didn't fit well in the refrigerator. I buy the 6 count case and give one to folks trying to feed hummingbirds. I make 5 gallons of bird water about every three days. Needless to say these are the only pitchers I use. Thanks

pitcher is great, lids are terrible

I bought two of these. They fit great in the fridge and are great for making tea and other drinks. A few weeks after buying them the lids cracked. One where the spout opens and the other along the lip of the container under the spout. I now jave one lid for two jugs. I wish there was a way to get new lids. Anyway, i bought another brand with a different style lid, but it does not fit in the fridge and leaks when I pour it. So I am stuck with the inferior lids.

Good pitcher for the price.

The best plastic pitcher I've had! But, my lid cracked just under the spout after about a year. I believe it's after all the dishwasher washings. I now hand wash all my plastic and acrylic containers. This is still a bargain for the price! Im buying another one and using the old one to water my plants.

Excellent pitcher!

Perfect Everyday Pitcher!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the Sterilite 1 Gallon Pitcher! It is lightweight, fits perfectly in my fridge, and pours without spilling. The flip-top lid is very easy to use, and it is great for water, juice, or tea. Overall, it is an affordable pitcher that does its job!

Use Daily

Use this dial and have gone through several. Fits well in our French door refrigerator, and holds a good amount of iced tea. The only issue we have had is the lid. One cracked, another the flip top broke, the third the tab on the other to lift off the lid became soft. Maybe redesign the lid or use a better plastic.

Need to offer replacement lids for pitchers.

I have had this pitcher for a couple years. The lid broke and I signed on to get a replacement. Now I see there is not an opportunity to replace the lid. Bummer

Great design

I like the design of this product. Just wished it came in a smaller size, like 2 liters.

Very Disappointed

I bought this because of other products the make but am very disappointed. After three uses the cover has already developed a crack.

Chemical Smell

I just bought this. I was shocked when I took off the lid and a strong chemical smell came out. I’ve washed it and the smell is much less, but is this safe??

Good could improve a bit

I bought for iced tea and kool-aid it's been working really good the top circle price broke slightly due to children messing around but I mostly fixed it. Fits in fridge nice.

These pitchers are good for dry goods too!

I have had several of these for years. I love them. They are not just for liquids. They hold 5 pounds of flour, cornmeal, sugar, coffee, dried beans, etc. I write the recipes for brownies, cornbread, banana bread, pie crust, biscuits, pancakes, and others on the sides with permanent markers. The measuring cups go in and out easily. I don't have to look the recipes up. I also write what is in the container on top of it or on the handle. My friends are copying my idea. Cheaply made lids that do not last

The pitcher itself is good but the lids break in no time. I have searched the internet for replacement lid and there are none so expect to replace the pitcher a couple of times a year. When the popup part wears out you might as well throw it away. I use my pitchers for tea and lemonade and when the popup part comes off in the cup I have a mess all over the counter and floor. Utilitarian Pitcher

Solid utiltiarian pitcher. Seals very well. Probably also would be good for dry cereal as it has a pretty good seal on it.

Replacement lids needed!

Overall I've been really happy with the pitcher, but the lid is cracked where the pop top sits and now it leaks. Please make replacement lids available- I don't want to waste a perfectly good pitcher.
