Poor design, hard to use as intended

Well, good idea, bad design. The wheels barely roll above the floor. Hitting a door sill, I have to pull it over or lift it. By the way, the short extension handle requires me to bend over to use it. Love the amount of storage

I am 5ft 2in and I have no problems rolling ut along. My father did make a few adjustments to make the bottom clearance a little higher but that took him all of 30 mins lol. Weak hinges but otherwise nice

The hinges on the top box broke after 3 uses around my house. Unfortunately, the pull handle attaches to the top box so now it cannot be pulled but must be picked up from the bottom and carried. Very awkward.

The "weird cousin" of the mobile toolbox line.

I have a lot of Stanley's mobile toolbox products and love them all...except this one. This thing is just a REALLY strange awkward design you can't use as directed. It's awkwardly short (I'm short....and I can't pull this without bending over...and it will repeatedly eat your ankles), it doesn't clear even the flattest of floors, and balancing it so that it doesn't fall over if you have anything in the top box requires you regularly just keep a stack of heavy paper in the bottom (and it has to b...

Lid hinges broke after very little use

I bought this rolling toolbox to use around the house. The size was perfect for me and I liked the design. After using it just a few times the plastic lid hinges broke off. Because the handle to roll the box around is attached to the lid, the box is now unable to be rolled around as designed. Not at all happy with this purchase.

Sad excuse for a rolling tool box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I asked for this as a gift. I use this daily and am sorry I even own it. I wanted it because I thought rolling instead of carrying would be better. This thing is weak, bows easily and even worse, it tips over if you breathe on it heavily. The wheels are placed too far forward and it make the center of gravity of the top too far back. The right size tool box

I am a new homeowner and have bought a few tools and home repair supplies since moving in. I also had some tools from my previous apartment. There was a large variety of tool box options in Lowe's. Real handy tool box,love being able to push or pull my tools and saws I need to each job,save time not having to make several trips,seems to be very durable,just wish it was a little bigger,but got it on sale,so happy with my purchase

Great Tool box at Great price

Best designed and manufactured portable tool box I have encountered (I have two others by different makers.) Very useable when top is dismounted from bottom. It has the best lock down hardware of any I have seen. Others rely on plastic clamps to hold the two parts together and they come apart or crack but this one has metal lockdowns. It is plastic so don't look to pass this along to your grandkids but it is substantial plastic and yet not heavy. Very convenient. I believe it will last for year...

Stanley 11.5 toolbox

Bought 3 2 for Christmas presents and one for me love it I can put all my tools in one spot now.

Good medium duty roll around.

Stanley has a variety of these roll around tool boxes in various configurations. Found this one on sale, figured it would be good for the garage. Wheels aren't heavy duty at all. Axle doesn't go all the way through. They are also hollowed out in the inside making them susceptible to collect sawdust and dirt. However as a medium duty garage box and for the sale price I got it for...absolutely works for me! If you can get it on sale, worth adding to the garage for sure.

Great concept. Mediocre quality

This rolling toolbox separates into two units. This is great for my business where I need the usual tools everyday and may need other tools for special jobs that are stored in the lower/larger toolbox. The issue with this toolbox is the wall thickness is very thin. This will be an issue if you knock it around, use it in cold temps or need a toolbox to last more than a few years without becoming brittle.
