Caution when assembling
Would Recommendbe care ful not to hold both the scew and the nut when assembling the product. I dropped the nut and never was able to find it despite a careful search, \The peoduct is as advertized but does not help in getting out of bed as it is located on the extreme outside of the matress and one has to be able to sit up in bed to grasp it.

Sturdy and Works Well
Would RecommendI am diagnosed with RBD (REM Sleep Behavioral Disorder.) The day I flung myself out of bed onto the floor during a nightmare was the day I ordered this Stander Safety Bed Rail. Since installation I have not attempted to sleep walk nor fallen out of bed. The fold down feature is superb, allowing the bed rail to almost disappear when the bed is made. It is likely this bed rail will save me broken bones and other injuries.

Would RecommendI've only had this bed rail for a week. My husband is going to be 99 in a month. He's not as strong as he used to be and I worried that he would fall out of our bed. The rail has been the perfect thing. It even works on our bed which doesn't doesn't match the specs. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is it hasn't been used long enough.
