Would RecommendMy husband purchased this excellent lamp cord to use to in our new sunroom. He stated this is some of the best lamp cord he has purchased!! The copper was nice, the stranding was perfect and mentioned it is difficult to find that quality of wire anymore and appreciate Lowe's for carrying it! He does come from an electricians background so he knows what is good or bad wire!!

Would RecommendThis is just standard, 18-AWG, 2-conductor lamp cord, suitable for re-wiring any lamp in your house. It is black in color so it will blend in and "hide" in darker-colored installations. One conductor is ribbed for polarized applications -- which was important where I used it. Most lamp applications won't care about polarization but I tend to do things that are a little bit out-of-the-ordinary -- I used this for speaker wire and the ribbed conductor allowed me to phase the speakers properly. ...
