Would RecommendI first got this litter to try for a litter of foster kittens at their messy age, and honestly, I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. Despite it not being "prefect", it is PERFECT for what I needed: low tracking pellet litter with good odor control that's fragrance free and overall safe for kittens learning how to use a litter box. I have since introduced it to the vet clinic where I work, and we mainly use it for our messy kitty patients. It has definitely made cleanup much easier f...

No dust but low odor control
Would RecommendI’ve been using this for 8 months now. I have a cat with cerebellar ataxia who benefits from pellet litter and it definitely is good for her paws. However, it starts smelling bad within 3 to 4 days. My cat drinks lots of water and pees about 5 times a day, and not being able to scoop pee or sift it out definitely contributes to the poor longevity. I will be switching to pine pellet litter. I do like the size of the pellets and the volume.

Very little tracking!
Would RecommendI use an inexpensive clay litter and then layer the top with the paper pellets. This reduces tracking tremendously. I used to hate how the clay litter used to be all over the floor as it would stuck on the bottom of my kitty's paws. I thought about how to solve it and then I found this paper pellet litter. Voila! In wanting to be cost effective, I continued with the clay litter and added a top lay of the pellets.

Worst pellet litter
Would Not RecommendThe pellets don't disintegrate like the pine pellet litter does when wet. The wet pellets stay solid and stink. I clean the box as needed, as in 3 or more times a day. I guess So Phresh must mean stinks.

Terrible Product
Would Not RecommendPurchased paper pellets as they were out of pine pellets. The smell of ammonia is terrible. The pellets do not clump or disintegrate. Cleaning the litter box is just dumping it all out, so I guess I will go through it in no time. It is not worth $18 and hope I can get a refund.

Hard pieces of “plastic” in litter
Would Not RecommendI have been using this litter for years. It’s certainly not good at odor suppression, but I refuse to use clay litter and it’s not horribly tracked by my cats. However, This morning I discovered hard, small yellow and colorless pieces of material in one of the litter boxes. I panicked wondering if one of my cats was passing stones or crystals. After an unsuccessful internet search trying to find anything that matched it, and unwelcome bladder presses on all of my cats, I thought to check the unu...

Paper pellet litter is the best!
Paper pellet litter smells fresher, lasts longer, doesn't stick to the litter box, doesn't track all over and it is easy to pick it any stray pieces.

Overall, a pretty good litter
Would RecommendWe have been using So Fresh Litter for a couple years after our previous paper litter brand was discontinued. She used this new one right away. Most of the time it does control odor and there is only a little dust. I like that it comes in a 25lb bag that i am able to handle. However, she does track a lot of the little pellets out of the box which could be inproved. I would recommend this product to a friend.

Absolutely Awful Ammonia Stench
Would Not RecommendI hate leaving bad reviews but this litter was just so awful I had to. I've had cats most my life and I have worked at a cat boarding facility, so I've interacted with many litters, and none have been as ineffective at scent masking as this one. The scent of ammonia was so overwhelming as to make my eyes water. It smelled frankly more of ammonia that plain cat pee; the artificial scent mixing with the pee in a horrible acrid stench. My entire house smelled of ammonia while using this litter. And...

Best litter ever
Would RecommendBest litter ever, been using it for about 17 yrs. I use it in the breeze way trays. It is very hard litter. just scoop out the waste & throw it away. Just add to the tray as needed. My 4 cats will be 17 on Aug. 3rd.
