What Customers Are Saying
The product is generally well-received for its effective odor control and absorption, with minimal tracking or dust. Customers report the litter keeps their homes fresh and clean. While the non-clumping pellets require more effort to scoop, the material is considered safe and gentle for cats, kittens, and other small pets. The litter provides good value with a large volume at an affordable price. However, some customers have noted inconsistencies in product quality over time, with the pellets becoming less effective, and the scented version being overpowering for some.

Terrific paper pellet cat litter
Would RecommendI use this litter along with the non-scented version on a regular basis. I use half scented and half unscented. The pellets are fantastic for clean up -- no tiny gritty pieces of 'sand' as with other types of litter. The pellets made from newspaper are easy to sweep or pick up when kitties exit the box. It's easy to see their poop to remove as well.

Price is great but quality is horrible.
Would Not RecommendI bought this a out three weeks ago. I was trying a different alternative for my two cats. Needless to say, I am not a fan. The only good thing was the price for it. Not only is it hard to clean but I noticed there is always like little bugs around the litter. My last litter never did that. So ill definitely be going back to the old litter I was using before using this one.

Worst Ammonia Odor I've Ever Experienced
Would Not RecommendI hate leaving bad reviews but this litter was just so awful I had to. I've had cats most my life and I have worked at a cat boarding facility, so I've interacted with many litters, and none have been as ineffective at scent masking as this one. The scent of ammonia was so overwhelming as to make my eyes water. It smelled frankly more of ammonia that plain cat pee; the artificial scent mixing with the pee in a horrible acrid stench. My entire house smelled of ammonia while using this litter. And...

The best one
This litter is pellets that smells good and doesn't stick to my cat's paws and nails. Also, other brands has some powder that spreads in the air when pouring it into a garbage bag which is not good when inhaled. So I will stick to this brand.

Would RecommendThe product cuts down on litter tracking on the floors. Also, it cuts down on allergies for the cat and myself.

bang for buck
Would RecommendWhile there are several paper pellet litters, I find PetCo so Phresh brand to be the least expensive without sacrificing any quality. I prefer it over Yesterday's News and others

Unfortunately, I don't recommend it.
Would Not RecommendI love the price of this product, but that's about it. I've used paper pellets from other brands before without issue, but for some reason, this product has a horrible ammonia-like stench within 4 days of putting out fresh litter. My cat's urine doesn't smell bad when I use other litter brands, so I think her urine reacts poorly with chemicals in this one to create the ammonia stench.
