What Customers Are Saying
Customers are divided on these tarp clips. Many report consistent failures, with the ratchet mechanism's teeth slipping or breaking under minimal stress and plastic edges flexing easily. Performance varies significantly by tarp thickness and application—they grip heavy-duty or thick materials well but fail with standard thin tarps and often shred them. Some users praise their durability and ease of installation for truck beds and outdoor furniture in low-stress settings. Overall, reviewers remain cautious, with roughly half satisfied while nearly a third experience significant reliability issues.

Have a tarp over my pool equipment here in Arizona and the grommets were tearing. These clips were the perfect solution and quick to apply.

Good clips. Just not for poly tarps
Would RecommendThese clips are displayed in the wrong place next to the slick thin poly tarps. These are designed for the thick woven Sun Shade material. They’ll hold a death grip on the Sun Shade. Marketing/Placement is everything.
Had to smash with pliars
Would RecommendWorked good, clipped right onto the pool pillow...

Confusion alert
Would RecommendI'm buying up most of the damaged trex boards for a project. I had to tell the cashier in lumber 3 times that the black splotch of paint is their indicator that they are damaged and half off. I think this should be like day one training for cashier's at the lumber checkout. Some form of id for damaged merchandise that will trigger the register scanner would be better and prevent this confusion.
