What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these microwaves for exceptional reliability and durability, with many reporting units lasting 15 to 20+ years and repurchasing out of trust. Reviewers consistently commend even heating, quick performance at 1000W, and notably quiet operation compared to other brands. The intuitive control panel, easy-to-use child lock, bright interior light, and compact stainless steel design are frequently cited as major advantages. A few note the dark interior makes viewing food difficult, and isolated reports mention concerns about plastic components or button durability. Overall, most customers consider these microwaves dependable workhorses worthy of long-term investment.

Well made and performs well
The microwave makes full use of space inside. Food is heated thoroughly and timing is accurate. It is nice looking and cleans well.

Hate the dark gray interior
My previous microwave was a Sharp, had it for 12 years and loved it. That's why I bought another Sharp, didn't even look much at other brands. But will definitely not buy another Sharp. The difference in quality is disappointing. All you have to do is open and close the door to feel the cheap loud clunky door. No longer has a handle, so it always has fingerprints all over glass, as people touch glass, The old Sharp had bright clean looking white interior, with good lighting. This one is ...

Perfect Countertop Microwave
This microwave fits perfectly on my counter and is just the right wattage for warming up and cooking easy dishes. I love the interior color of gray instead of white and it has been super easy to clean. Has a lot of nice features that I enjoy using. I do wish the clock were not quite so bright or that it could be dimmed but that is a small inconvenience. Highly recommend.

Good microwave but noisy
This is the third Sharp I have owned and I like it a lot. It is noisier than previous models but it does have more power. It took several days of use before I could get the carousel dish to seat in it's grooves properly, but finally it has turned evenly. I usually turn "power" down to 8 or 9 to match what I am accustomed to when heating foods. It is convenient, a perfect small-ish size and clean looking.

I like the features of this unit. Also love the style and color. Perfect replacement for my last Sharp Microwave. Easy to use and I can't believe how quiet it is while running! So far, very happy with it.

Microwave
I’m very happy with my new Sharp microwave . It is very powerful and efficient. It cooks potatoes perfectly( no wrinkles or dryness) and reheats very well. I love the instant start 1-2-3-4-5 minute setting and use that feature often.

Great microwave
Has many features. Use them all. Compact but still large enough to cook larger items. I use the autocook feature the most. Love this microwave.

Terrific Features!
Our Sharp microwave is used *every day* for everything from small instant snacks to reheating plated meals. Seems like Sharp has delivered quality microwaves F O R E V E R because we've always returned to the Sharp product line after 'experimenting' with other brands, the Sharp long term durability is unmatched in our experience. The Sharp easy-use menu system and options give us the flexibility to maximize its use in our busy daily schedule. However, we do miss the rather trivial 'message' wh...

Once a sharp always a sharp
I’ve owned sharp microwaves since about 1990 and I got a new one now not because the old one broke but simply because it was seven years old and a little dirty. The new one is quieter and has better rubber grips so that it doesn’t slide around on the counter. Everything else is the same as the old which I love.

LOVE this microwave
We spent a long time looking for a good microwave that fit all our needs: high wattage (over 1100) , counter top, not loud, & not too big but big enough to have a good wattage. This microwave has surpassed my expectations! You can turn the child lock feature off, which is really nice because that was the only review that stuck out to me as being “bad.” I’d recommend this to anyone who needs a counter top microwave that actually warms your food evenly and quickly! It’s had no problems since pur...

1.1 Cu. Ft. 1000 W Microwave Experience
I had a previous Sharp model of the same rating for six years. This Sharp model is quieter than the previous model and well constructed. The touchpad menu is easy to use, with lots of features. I use it to heat or defrost frozen food and reheat leftovers. I use it to warm up drinks every day. Reheating pizza is my favorite, the taste as good as fresh. I like the bright display. As recommended, I wipe it clean after each use inside and out, to keep it in prime shape. I would recommend this same m...
