Would RecommendWe like this microwave so much that we purchased a second one. The inside of the microwave is the same size as our original; however, the front face is not as wide, so we need to modify the space it goes into. Lowe's no longer sells the 30" wide one. Only the 24" one, which is what this second one is.

Easy to use no more bending down to remove product
Much easier to remove. From microwave, just lift it out. No bending over.

Uneven heating
The drawer microwave features such as timer, power setting, etc. work well. However, the heating is uneven with a large amount in one area. This is obvious when quickly heating a low melting which is warm over most of the area but a "hole" is created in a small area. The microwave is not uniform.

I have always owned Sharp countertop units in the past. The drawer model performs well and easy to operate. I enjoy having the extra counter space too. I should have changed to the drawer model years ago!

Love our drawer microwave
This product is such a space saver! I'll never have a counter top or above the stove microwave again. This is the second home in which we've had this microwave. Cooks evenly. Quiet (you can turn off the beep notifications). Looks nice and tidy; tucked away in a cabinet. Would buy again!

A Perfect Fit
When we remodeled our kitchen in 2014 we had a Sharp Drawer Microwave installed to allow for more counter space. It lasted 11 years. We replaced it with another Sharp Drawer Microwave and we love it! It's easy to use and access. Less reaching and safer lifting of food from the microwave.

Adore the Microwave Drawer
Love the design aesthetic and pleasantly surprised at how often I use the new microwave. It is almost fun to use! And extremely easy to clean, in the few instances it is needed. As an avid home chef, using a microwave was minimal at best. But when I designed and fully renovated my kitchen the Sharp Drawer microwave was the only new appliance I purchased. So very pleased I added it to my design.

Liked it enough to buy it twice
Our first microwave drawer was this same type and when it finally gave out we wanted another just like it. Our local repair service also recommended a Sharp. It is not like the old microwaves that overcook, but it has many options for just about anything you can think of to cook or warm. Really love that it's a drawer and doesn't take up any counter space also. We use the microwave many times daily and find it invaluable.
