Shark Bite Works - easy and no leaks.
Would RecommendI used Shark Bite before on a filtered water system and it was easy to use and worked well. When I saw they were available for my 1/2" copper pipe water heater install, it was a no brainer. Worked well and easy and no problems and no leaks. I did not have an outside diameter deburring tool, so I did a very thorough sanding job there to make sure there was no burr to damage the connector. When measuring, take into account that the water heater connections take up 2" off the top of the water heate...
