Would RecommendI liked this particular post best because it was more decorative and cheaper than the alternative. I give it 4 stars because you could tell that it was mass produced in a furious pace. That being said, it's a mailbox post not fine furniture. It was straight, seemed strong enough and was an easy install.

Would RecommendI BOUGHT THIS TO REPLACE THE POST THAT GOT WAFFLED IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE. IT LOOKS AS GOOD AS THE FIRST ONE. ADDED REFLECTORS. USED MATT BLACK SPRAY PAINT BEFORE MOUNTING MAILBOX. LOWES ALMOST ALWAYS HAS WHAT I NEED TO FIX STUFF. GREAT STORE. BEEN USING IT FOR OVER 24 YEARS.

Would Not RecommendThis mailbox post appears to have been quickly assembled with minimal hardware/nails, ETC. There was no quality inspection performed. An example of this would be that the lower angled wood support piece has nails driven into the wood but none of them reached the main vertical support post.
