What Customers Are Saying
Customers are divided on this battery-operated spreader. Most praise its lightweight design, simple operation, and time-saving convenience for small lawns, completing tasks in under ten minutes with minimal refilling. However, many report significant durability issues, describing the motor as underpowered and experiencing sudden failure after minimal use or a single season. Several note incompatibility with certain fertilizer products and clogging problems. While ease of use resonates strongly, widespread motor performance concerns temper overall satisfaction.

Would RecommendI bought this a month ago and am so happy I did. I can broadcast seed or fertilizer with one hand and it’s really nice. The hopper is also a decent size and the settings are clearly marked…just turn the dial. I was actually shopping for a small spreader and got this one instead. It even comes with the battery already installed.

Dont Trust
Would Not RecommendIt worked fine. Came with its own batteries. My mistake is I trusted the batteries. I used the item 40 days ago and was satisfied. Went to use it again today and it would not work, but found that the "batteries included" had LEAKED and spreader no longer functions!

Poor condition
I purchased a NEW spreader. However, I received a USED unit that was dirty, had fertilizer residue in the bin and had batteries that worked but tested as having half life. This is the last time I will purchase a lawn product from Lowes.
