I'm a huge Scotch-Brite fan. But for the life of me I can't understand who designed this, how it passed any kind of critical review, how it continues to get sold, and how it gets anything other than one star. Pretty good!
Just purchased another one - like it pretty well. Have not had the issues of the sponge falling off that others have noted, but I don’t use it in really narrow bottles. Think that the sponges should be available for refills, much like a Swiffer duster - would be more ecologically and economically friendly.

I purchased this on 09/21/2024 and used the next day to clean a wide mouth 40oz water bottle. The sponge came off the handle. Then I realized it was a mistake that I purchased this bottle brush with such attaching poor technique, just grooves to hold the sponge! A sponge when it gets wet absorbs more water and becomes heavy and can easily come off the grooves of a plastic handle. The design has a huge flaw that needs to be fixed.
