Ratings & Reviews for Scotch Delicate Surface 1.41-in x 60 Yard(s) Painters Tape
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise this tape for removing cleanly from freshly painted walls, new wood floors, and delicate wallpaper without residue or damage, with many calling it gentler than traditional blue tape. However, a substantial number report the tape pulled paint, wallpaper, or primer during removal, sometimes even on fully cured surfaces, causing frustration and requiring touch-ups. Users appreciate its transparent design and balanced stickiness for secure holding, though some experience inconsistent adhesion or premature peeling. Despite the damage concerns, most customers find it effective for new paint projects, though the mismatch between labeling and actual performance leaves some feeling misled.

Less isn't more
Would Not RecommendAlthough the purpose of this tape is easy damage free release, if it doesn't stick hardly at all it isn't very useful. And you pay more for something less sticky.

Great to paint prep a room with hardwood floors

Excellent Adhesion, easy to remove.
Would RecommendLove this product for protecting the electrical components of a table lamp being spray painted with rust proof paint. Easy to remove after the adhesive quality did what was it supposed to do.

Horrible
Would Not RecommendThis tape pulled layers of paint and wallpaper off of walls in three rooms when removing it. For a product that was supposed to protect the surface, it did extensive damage. Do not use! Now we have to repair wallpaper and walls.
