Would Not RecommendI got this for the edge of a shelf that I lined with 1/4” PVC. Finished product looks great but cutting this was horrible!! I tried the chop saw and it shattered! I ended up using a hand saw which was hard work

Would RecommendMost of my clients request the Schluter edges for the tile. Schluter offers varying thicknesses to accommodate a variety of tiles. These have a consistent and clean finish and I’m able to cut cleanly for tiles both mitered and straight cuts. There’s no concern for rusting as this one was a plastic type material. Would RecommendWe used Schluter Systems Schiene 0.313-in W x 98.5-in L Matte White Textured Color-Coated Aluminum L-angle Tile Edge Trim to match our 1/4-in tall backsplash tile, and it works beautifully. I love the subtle texture, and you can also extend it further out for outside corners. It staples in place easily, and then you can hold it in place with either mastic or thinset.
