Extremely Happy With This Monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Samsung Odyssey G50D on February 1st, 2026, and after using it for several months, I’m extremely happy with it. I mainly use it for gaming, and so far I haven’t had any problems with it. One of my favorite things about this monitor is how many picture and game settings it has. There are a lot of options to adjust the display to your liking, and I especially love having G-SYNC and the Black Equalizer. The Black Equalizer has been r...

A great all rounder type of monitpr -Samsung G50D

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The clarity of the monitor is great. Contrast and color rations are good to, but a lot of games may require custom rgb tuning mainly by lowering the blue color output. THE REFRESH Rate at 180hz is a perfect middle ground for speed/Latency responsiveness when playing any genre of game especially competitive titles. The screen being a 27 inch 1440p resolution monitor is also a great combination in terms of the Ergonomics of the monitor, as well ...

UGH! Monitor resolution is faded and unclear!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] UGH! As a working TX teacher & mother with two jobs, I feel like I am always on the computer with multiple programs opened and worksheets I have to analyze. To make matters worse, my Dell monitor faded to blue. With an extremely limited budget, I decided to grab this monitor and was so incredibly disappointed with its poor resolution, faded and unclear, that I DONATED it to my son's nursery, without any kind of monetary compensation!!

Best monitor I have ever had!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Samsung monitor is well-suited for commuting and everyday office use, delivering reliable image quality and smooth performance for work, study, and light entertainment. It prioritizes clarity and comfort, while offering enough responsiveness for casual gaming and fast multitasking.

Solid pick!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a very good monitor although it sometimes does stutter even on 180 Hz on a DisplayPort to Thunderbolt 4 connection. I don't know why and this problem hasn't been resolved yet. It's one of the better LCDs on the market and for gaming at QHD 180 Hz it's amazing, one of the best at this price.

Annoying Popup

Great monitor except that a reminder to register the product displays upon booting, even though I did register it. Samsung support was unable to figure out how to make it go away. It is annoying!

Great monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've enjoyed this monitor thoroughly there is a very minimal glare on the screen if you have lights but in the right setting it is very clear and great

Amazing Budget Monitor

The G50D might be the best budget 1440p monitor for this price point. It's not like the display is the best of the best but for the price, it's a great starting monitor for kids beginning to build their setups. Though I feel like for 1440p the G50D might look the best in 27" to max out the ppi. Overall, it's a good all-around monitor for this price point.
