What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this rust-preventive primer for chemically bonding with rust and stabilizing corroded surfaces into paint-ready bases. Many report success reviving heavily rusted items like 60-year-old lamp posts and lawnmower decks. Reviewers consistently highlight even spray application, quick drying, and reliable nozzle performance. The primer serves as a durable foundation that prevents rust bleeding through after prolonged outdoor exposure and rain. Proper surface prep with wire brushing is essential for optimal results. A few users report isolated spray failures or clogging, but most find it highly effective and dependable.

Consumer Ripoff !
Would Not RecommendI purchased this can of Primer and immediately was disappointed after trying to use it the next day. After spraying one-quarter of the can, the pressure stopped. No Pressure from the nozzle. I returned it to Lowes for a refund, and the customer service person refused to refund my purchase price. Poor Quality Control by Rust-O-Lumen and Poor Customer Service by Lowes. The Customer got Ripped Off!
