What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this rust converter for its exceptional ability to transform rust into a stable black protective layer without sanding or stripping. Reviewers consistently highlight how it "coats the rust and you can paint over it," eliminating extensive surface prep on truck frames, trailers, lawn chairs, and garden tools. The application is praised as easy and smooth-spraying with fast drying times, often requiring just one coat before topcoating. Many report long-lasting results, with treated surfaces remaining rust-free for weeks or longer. A few note the clear version underperforms compared to black, and some mention pricing concerns, but nearly all customers consider it highly effective and worthwhile.

Works well
I bought this to reform rust on my trailer. Coverage and finish were good. I applied a topcoat of paint and the adhesion was good.

This stuff works really well on light surface. Rust and I use it all the time on multiple projects. It also creates a nice primer layer that I just paint right over.
