We love the Ring wired floodlight pro. We had it professionally installed over our garage with the existing wiring. It took about 45 minutes. I love that it is wired because it is always running and you do not have to worry about taking out and regarding the battery. The flood lights are bright and you can turn them on manually or set them to motion activated. You can also set the zones of motion so they don’t turn on for areas that are heavy trafficked like the sidewalk. The camera is very good...

its Dead Already!

It was purchased January 2025, installed March 2025. its now August 2026 and its dead after 17 months of use. Good video, sensitivity and mode options, three stars for only 17 month MTBF!

Easy install, great product

We had no problems doing this ourself above our garage it was super simple as we have siding. We had to buy a special bit to drill (a nice and long one). We drilled from the inside out we bought the “Ring plug in mount” and did no electrical just plugged it in near where the garage plugin was. Super easy then wired it. That ring plug in mount made it so much easier. As far as the camera it’s amazing we have all ring products and love the 24 hour service they provide for our cars and house. Light...

Great Camera; Not so great Light

Be aware this light is not designed to hang from an eave. While very happy with the camera the light itself is not very bright and not easily adjusted as it replaced a fixture that was indeed installed on an eave.

Great Floodlight and Security Camera

We have one of these and it works great. The floodlight is nice for when we come home and it is dark out. The camera part works well. The Ring app allows for quite a bit of control over the various motion settings for the camera and light. You can set various notifications for the camera. The light can be set for different levels of brightness or even turned off if needed.

I feel so safe having my camera. It lights up at every motion and is even more helpful when I get home and see the driveway to walk into my house. It is also equip with a 🚨siren - It just makes me feel safer.

These cameras are great security cameras. They have many customizations allowing you to record just the events you want captured. The 2k picture quality is clear, even at night. You can activate the lights & siren directly from the app on your phone & talk to whoever may be there. They were easy to hook up in place of my old floodlights.
