Ratings & Reviews for Rev-A-Shelf Double Pullout 35 qt. with Soft-close 53WC-1835SCDM-217

Worked properly for about 2 weeks

Now, it work pretty good, if you dont have garbage, in your cans. With garbage it wont soft close all the way. It needs to be pushed. Surely they can do better for $200+.

Easy to follow instructions

Easy to assemble

Rev a shelf online instructional video supported

Sizing was spot on and the instructions incleded were suffucient.

Poor instructions

Instructions and illustrations are vague and incomplete. Refers to parts by number but there is no list of parts and their corresponding number

Pretty easier to set up

Product was easy to put together and install in my cabinet. Just read the instructions all the way through before you start. I found on error in the instructions in one step when the written instructions told you to use part x screws and the accompanying diagram for the step showed part y screws. The diagram was correct.

Easy Upgrade to Older Kitchen Cabinet

nicely made product from Rev a Shelf however it was missing some of the installation hardware and the instructions are not too clear

Well made but hard tug required to open

The product is well made of strong well finished steel. Assembly instruction are good. The unit does require a stronger than you would expect force to open the the sliding unit. I do wish it rolled out more easily. I called customer service to see if there was something that could be done to reduce the force but they informed me that it was the way it works because of the soft close.

Soft close, effort needed to open

Good quality containers. Paper instructions need improvement. Went to the website to watch the assembly video for clarity. Once installed it works as directed. Understand it’s soft close only. You need to open with some effort. I’ll be installing cabinet hardware to make it easier.

sturdy and easy to install

This is the second trash bin drawer from Rev-a-Shelf I've installed this year. They make a sturdy assembly that's easy to install. The soft-close is nice too. My only complaint is that one of the parts is mislabeled in the instructions (screws #11 are actually #12). Otherwise, very pleased with this product.

Worth the money

Installation is easy, drawer works great 👍

Adding the door can be a bit difficult.

Easy of assemble.

Easy to instal

This is a great drawer but the holding bar in the back seems to fall off every 4th or 5th time the drawer is opened.

Must Mount Door to Unit

Well made, easy to install in the cabinet - but none of the literature (online or otherwise) indicates that if you want to use this unit you MUST mount it to the cabinet door. I am replacing one of the completely useless wire Rev-A-Shelf units and was planning to just do a quick swap. No such luck.

Overall great value

Good quality, sturdy material

Solid, works nice and smooth.

Liked the simple installation; love the smooth soft-close.
