Worked for me

Used it at hunting camp last year, Central GA, which is always full of yellow jackets and wasps. The trap did okay, but not great the first several days. I added a small bite size piece of raw chicken to the bottom portion of the trap and that worked very well. More than doubled the amount caught in just a day.

WHY never caught anything .. 2 years

I have wasps and/or hornets near my back door, frequently hovering in front of my Nest doorbell (thinks it's a person) so I put two traps nearby, one 9' away, shady until late afternoon, one gets morning sun only. I have zero catches after following directions to a T.

Great Trap

This is the second year of using a WHY trap in my backyard. I always catch a lot of hornets in the bottom section, but I haven't caught anything in the top yet.

This seems to work quite well. The first trap caught two on the first day. So I bought two more. I watched one wasp escape, but two of the three traps caught some wasps.

Ineffective

I purchased this trap through Amazon and assembled it per directions. It has been hanging now for a week over my milkweed plants where the wasps love to troll for monarch caterpillars. Not one wasp has been captured and not a single wasp has been seen investigating the trap. I’m sorry I wasted the money. I should note that the trap has caught many gnats and one moth.

I have had 3 up spring thru fall for past two years. In that time all it catches is flies and other bugs while I have had 3+ wasp nest around my house. Doesn't even work

I got this trap at Ace Hardware (along with several other yellow jacket traps) and I followed the instructions to a T. I moved it a few different times and absolutely zero wasps/bees/hornets in the trap. The only thing in there is a spider. I actually had to hire a pest control company to spray around my house due to how many wasps and yellow jackets we have. I also purchased the yellow jacket traps (disposable and reusable +refills) and same result. I purchased the yellow jacket traps last year...

Worked great in summer

Works great most of the time, but varies throughout the year. Worked best in the summer/fall, they seem to mostly ignore it in the spring. Easy to refill.

Total failure to attract one yellowjacket or wasp.

Yellow jackets and wasps flying all around trap and not one has even checked it out. Total failure! I will return it if Lowes will take it back.
