Measure amount of overhang before digging posthole
Would RecommendThe instructions don't tell you how far the mailbox extends out from the post. I recommend assembling everything and then measuring the amount of overhang so that you can dig your posthole far enough from the road so the mailbox doesn't stick out into the road. Other than the poor instructions, I'm happy with the quality of the product.

Would Not RecommendVery disappointed in this product. Literally not a single provided screw fits any of the pre-drilled holes in either the post or the arm. I contacted the customer service number, and was told they have no replacement parts and that I should return the item. It's already mounted on the 4x4, so I guess I just have to find the replacement screws on my own. Do not recommend.

Would Not RecommendWould be a really nice product, except not a single screw or fastener in the box fits a single hole anywhere on the pole or arm. Literally not one. Will call the manufacturer tomorrow, but sucks because I took down my mailbox to install on this pile and now I have no mailbox.

Very well-made post office box post. The directions are clear and it’s easy to assemble. The accompanying hardware was also well made. I fastened it to a 4x4 treated timber and used 18” of concrete to set it in the ground. It should last for years!
