This mailbox post was easy to install and seems very sturdy. It’s much better looking and much more stable than my old one. Only drawback, the screws which secured the mailbox sleeve to the post both stripped before I could get them driven all the way in. They are still in far enough to hold the post in place, so not a big issue.

Nice mailbox post, with small flaw
Would RecommendThis mailbox post is very nice and looks cool. I did not give 5 stars as the mailbox holder plant is attached to the post arm thru my only 4 screws spaced in a 1 to 2” rectangle. It should have another attachment to holder better the plate to the arm. Anyway, I just added another bracket to address the issue.

Pretty but not solid
Would Not RecommendUnfortunately, the manufacturing tolerances are incredibly loose for ease of assembly. There is too much clearance between the horizontal post and the cutout hole. Even after firmly securing all the screws on the 45-degree support brace, the mailbox still moves up and down slightly and feels completely unsecure. The angled brace simply isn't enough to compensate for the poorly sized hole. The only way to fix this is to either shim the hole with something, add a screw through the side of the post...
