It works perfectly with one spring hinge, so I will return the other hinge to the store. The only issue I had was that the spring hinge was a little thicker than the previously installed hinge, resulting in the door not shutting all the way after I installed it. Would RecommendGreat product, but be warned I bought two of these and they were oriented in different directions. Thought I was crazy, but as I put them on the same door, the same way, my wife double checked and they would've been working against each other. Got another one and it was fine.
