Shopping and dealing with Lowe's has been a very pleasant experience. I have noticed a huge improvement in both sound transmission (much lower now), and also a reduction in heat transmission as well! In short, the improvements are exactly what I was looking for. The installation was straight forward, as well. I'd do it again, without hesitation! Absolutely no regrets!

Horrible product

In 2 years, inside of windows started to fall apart, and mold formed. Lowes customer service refused to replace just the window sashes, and said I need to buy new window. DO NOT BUY!

The woodgrain appearance looks great

I wanted a window that was vinyl but looked like wood on the inside. This window looks great. I replaced the original 80 year old windows in a house and there is a 10 degree (F) difference in window temperature when the sun is shining bright. The window is easy to clean and would serve well as an egress window if needed.

AVOID

I bought a whole home full of windows in 2020 with the Reliabilt 3900 windows. What an utter waste of money. All of the windows I bought from Lowe's all have this problem. They leak air terribly because the lower sash's upper corners all had 1/4" x 1/8" gaps. Please see the photo of a typical window. Some are worse and some are better. NO DOCUMENTATION

This is my first purchase of Reliabilt 3900 series window. Previously I have purchased Reliabilt 3201 series windows. The 3201s come with instructions, mounting screws and 4 mounting holes(2 top, 2 bottom). The 3900 which I just bought did not come with any screws or documentation. Also there are only mounting screw holes in the bottom half of the window.. The top half did not come with any mounting holes. Quality Product

High quality material and craftsmanship. Sizes were just as listed, so a perfect fit.

Faulty/Fragile sash locks.

I had to replace all the sash locks on 4 windows. I picked up my windows from Lowes and brought them home. During unloading, I realized the sash locks on one of the windows were broken. When I called customer service requesting replacements, the customer service representative was only helpful in keeping me on the phone. She had no idea that the part could be ordered separately, put me on hold to verify if they would honor the discounted price, put me on hold for other reasons I do not remember....

Great windows

Had these windows in my house a few months ago and they are amazing. I'm close to a high way and i do not hear the trucks brakes anymore. my neighbor just bought the same windows last week.

In store order issues

The grids yield only 4 window panes. I ordered 4 24 x64 window that have 6 panes, which is better. They are on the front of the house and the 4 pane windows do not complement the 6pane windows. Why can't the smaller window s I purchased have 6 panes

3900 Series - 3+ Year and Still Very Good

I have 30 of these and they are all still performing great and excellent insulation through a recent below zero cold spell, with typical summers around !00. They continue to be a great value.

Mold under glazing bead

Mold has formed under the glazing beads on all 24 of my Reliabilt 3900 windows. The mold cannot be reached to clean. Anyone else experiencing the same? An Atrium rep stated he has never seen this happen before. A customer service rep said issues with the beading is not normal. Atrium states that the mold is environmental and therefore not covered under warranty. I could accept that if there was a way to clean. A mold mitigation service told me there is no way to clean and beading would need to ...

Less than one year after installation, mold/mildew formed under the beading. There is no way to clean it. Atrium states that this is an environmental issue and is not covered under warranty. My neighbor bought the same windows and has the same issue. The mold/mildew is visible from the inside looking out.
