What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this door viewer for straightforward installation requiring only a standard 1/2-inch drill bit, with many noting even DIY beginners succeed easily. The clear optics deliver sharp visibility and a wide field of view, while the interior privacy flap effectively blocks outside light. Reviewers consistently highlight the polished finish available in black or nickel to match existing hardware. Most find the build quality excellent and durable. A small number report occasional issues like out-of-focus lenses or minor finish inconsistencies, though these are isolated. Overall, customers strongly recommend this product for its reliability and performance.

High Quality Great Optics
Would RecommendThis is my second identical model in last 5 years. I put this is my previous home as well. High-quality, great optics, perfect view angle for my needs. I really like the flip cover so no one can see movement or light from the other side.

I purchased two of these for my older brother who lives by himself. They were of good materials and easy to install. He has commented that they work very well.

I haven't had my door installed yet.
I like that I had the option of purchasing this door viewer in black since my new door is black.
Contrasting nickel, but easy enough install
Would RecommendJust installed this in my new home. View is good, and I love that this has a cover. Price is more than fair. You do need a 9/16 bit to install, but I overlapped two 5/16 and rounded it out and that worked just fine for me. Only real complaint is I don’t like the color of the nickel on the inside. Outside is great, and matches my other hardware, but the safety flap itself is a different sheen. More matte than the exterior. Minimal difference
