Nice features, still a little to be desired

I bought this saw back in September and it's seen relatively heavy use since then. Its not s bad saw. After the first couple of tanks of fuel I had to fine tune the carburetor. Not a big deal...but I had to order a set of the pac-man style screw drivers to tune it. Kind of odd. Why not just use regular hex screws with the flat head insert? It runs out well...but it did take about 4 or 5 tanks of gas to get it running pretty well. I like aluminum handle, and the magnesium crank case. For the pric...

Great saw for the price!

Absolutely the best saw I've owned in terms of trouble free starting and smooth idling! After the initial "primer pull" of the starter rope, only ONCE have I had to pull more than a single pull to get it started (even with the OEM Chinese spark plug)!!! The only exceptions being when I failed to place the shutoff switch back in the "run" position prior to pulling the rope. Excellent Chainsaw

Quick start and cuts great easy to use

I am a novice. I have had chainsaws in the past but not a regular user. I have a gas one that was super hard to start. I bought a couple different battery powered saws thinking that would be easier. They have their drawbacks also. This saw, is a great tool. It is easy to start and has enough power to get through some good sized trees. I am still learning on the fly but as I improve I appreciate the ease of operation of this saw.

Dont buy this brand

The chainsaw sent to me was previously sold to someone who tried to use it but wouldnt start. I had the same issue too. How did I know that the chainsaw was previously sold? When I tried to drain the gas, we saw the gas was dirty. We called Prorun after Lowes wouldnt accept the return though it is within the 30 day window. Prorun created a ticket but said it will take days for technician to attend to the ticket. I would say stay away from this brand.

Great Chainsaw

I used this chainsaw today for cutting down 8 trees, and I was really surprised at how well this thing worked. Great chainsaw. Straight out of the box, this chainsaw didn't fail me at all. Highly recommend. Cuts amazing and quick, and performance is flawless.

Works as good or better than the hi dollar ones

User friendly and starts right up

Noticed that the plastic cover is cracked where the nuts go to secure the bar to the saw. Purely cosmetic to me and doesn't affect the use of the saw. Set up was easy and the saw runs great. I thoroughly enjoyed how the user manual includes guides on cutting logs and felling trees.

18" gas chain saw
