Does not work on smaller 2X3 rug next to my bed, even though I trimmed it to the same size as the rug, which still slips and slides on my wood floor but not as much as it did without the non-slip surface.

Would RecommendThis worked perfectly for what I needed - a mat for my runner rug that was moving all over the place. I needed to piece together several of these to fit the entire length of my rug. They have just enough stickiness to stay in place, so I was able to lay them end to end on the floor, with the rug on top. It hasn’t moved since!
