Would RecommendI purchased this because my wife brought home a new area rug. Due to this new rugs bottom surface and our wood floors the rug would slide when stepped upon. This size was the best for trimming down as needed. After trimming the pad to appropriate size it was a completely different experience with the rug. Great grip and it doesn't slip and move any longer. Very good product.

Will leave chemical stains on your hardwood floor
Would Not RecommendIn just a few months this rug pad stained our hardwood floor, creating a checkered imprint the entire length and width of our runner—it looks like a chemical reaction, and we can't wash or clean off the stain. It has blended with the wood. Absolutely do not buy.

Fine, basic rug pad
Does the job, to keep rug from sliding. Easy to cut to customize size. Overpriced for what it is, but I did get a large size. Doesn't do much in terms of cushion-- it's a very basic rug gripper pad.
