Install under an awning

I have 6 of these around my house. They are bright enough to help my security cameras see at night. The only issue I've had is water getting inside the LED housing of one light and corroding the wires. It had to be replaced after about 4 years. My suggestion would be to install these lights under an awning or patio cover and definitely don't hose them down.
