Excellent repair option.
Perfect to bring our extension cord back to life! I am fortunate to work with master electricians who advise me where to go, what to buy, and repaired an extension cord that others told me to trash! Lowe’s has great employees who walk to the aisles listen to your requests and guide you to the right purchase. So glad that I stopped in at my coworkers advice.

Works for me

Lowe's only had one option or I wouldn't buy it.
Would Not RecommendAs heavy as the case is, you'd think it would have room inside for a knot as a strain relief. There is NO extra room inside the case, I had to change my wiring around and remove extra insulation from my wires because I couldn't get the case back together. All that is holding my wire to the plug are the screws holding the wire to the outlet.

Good fit and finish.
I needed to make a short extension cord for a set of LED patio lights. This plug is exactly what I wanted to install in a short cord I already owned that didn’t have the female end.
